Peltz Gallery shows fine contemporary art in our 1885 landmark Victorian house. Two floors of gallery space offer realist and abstract art in paintings, museum quality prints, collage and small sculpture. This established gallery will be twenty years old in July of 2009. We now display works of Christo, Colescott, Cottingham, Dine, John Sayers, Kahinde Wiley, and many more.
We are known as well for our annual “Remarkable Women” show. This year we featured 30 contemporary women artists including Lesley Dill, Jane Hammond, Diane Levesque, Nicola Lopez, Carol Pylant, Alison Saar, Jeanette Pasin Sloan, Leslie Vansen, Kara Walker, Della Wells, and others.
