Barbizon Paintings
Important paintings and drawings by mid-19th century artists who painted in, or near Barbizon. This small village, whose name symbolizes outdoor painting, gave us a new style of painting featuring the simple life of the peasant, his land, the forest, his cows, sheep, haystacks and beautiful sunsets. Artists include Pissarro, Diaz, Troyon, Dupre, Chaigneau, Harpignies, Fantin-Latour, Hareux, and many more.
May 6 - May 27, 2005
Reflections
Featuring new paintings by Jodi Castagnozzi. Her work has been shown in Chicago, Los Angeles, Milwaukee, and Minneapolis. The show will feature 15-20 new oil paintings and pastels with water, reflections, and mirror themes. Symbolically the artworks are reminiscent of woman and self-reflection in tandem. In addition to Castagnozzi¹s reflection/reflective paintings, Delind will show a collection of artworks by other artists of the past and present, also with a "reflective" theme from antique to contemporary.

Terry Firkins
A retrospective of several of this artist's favorite painting themes. Firkins is Milwaukee's outstanding Plein Air painter. All his paintings are done on location, and out of doors in summer, winter, rain, or sunshine - or nighttime, and include small towns, farms, wood lots, harvesting, Milwaukee's streets, summers along the Maine Coast, and his watercolors of the Milwaukee shoreline.

FREDERICK HART: Important Sculptures
In November, Frederick Hart was the recipient (posthumously) of the National Medal of Arts, one of eight honored by President Bush, and the National Endowment for the Arts. Frederick Hart recently had one of his sculptures accepted into the permanent public collection at The Hermitage Museum, in Russia. DeLind Fine Arts is proud to have been his Wisconsin representative for over 20 years. Our September show will include many of his monumental bronze sculptures, as well as smaller, more personal bronze and acrylic pieces. Some of the monumental bronze sculptures will include figures cast from molds made of the tympanum above the front doors of the National Cathedral, in Washington, D.C.
