The arts are ALIVE in Milwaukee! And the Milwaukee Art Dealers Association (MADA) is proud to work in creative and exciting ways to make this a vibrant and growing arts community. MADA members are dedicated to high standards of professionalism. Our goals include encouraging the appreciation and education of the visual arts, stimulating the business climate for art, and developing Milwaukee as an outstanding arts community. We offer a diverse assortment of exhibition venues, works from internationally acclaimed artists, special events... and much more.

From respected museums to innovative galleries, MADA members bring diversity and imagination to the Milwaukee art scene. Each member gallery has its own unique focus painting, fine crafts, vintage prints and posters, original sculpture, glass, and photography. Our museum members offer permanent collections featuring a wide variety of art from the work of Old Masters to emerging contemporary artists. Preview nights and opening receptions draw hundreds, and sometimes thousands, to enjoy the art scene and network with colleagues.

Art Milwaukee is an annual exposition of prominent galleries and arts institutions bringing together the finest works from local and regional galleries and other venues around the world.

MADA is one of the sponsors of Gallery Night & Day. This popular art event is staged four times a year throughout the Milwaukee area. Gallery Night & Day is not only an occasion to see the latest and best our galleries offer, but a fun social gathering to meet artists, gallery owners, and other art lovers. This year, Gallery Night & Day is scheduled for January 16-17, April 16-17, July 23-24 and October 15-16. www.historicthirdward.org

MADA recognizes the importance of giving back to the community through its support of charitable causes. Each year, members host a variety of special events, sometimes in partnership with other groups, to benefit and improve community services and worthwhile charities.
